Description of Project

Welcome to my students' websites on Evolutionary Theory.  The goal of this project was to have students create an organism from their imagination, once studying and understanding  the forces which "drive" an organisms evolution.   This driving force the students will later recognize as the process of natural selection.

To successfully complete this assignment, the students had an intensive study on the marine environment.  From this knowledge, they were then asked to successfully complete the task, by creating their own "unique" creature and develop  web pages on it.   

(The most interesting fact is that most of the time Nature has a real life organism already created that is similar to their creature.  The students are not told this until their projects are turned in)
