Choose ONE of the following activities to complete:

On his trek across the frozen Alaskan wilderness, Russel changes from a boy to a man.  Compile a series of 3 sketches--you choose the medium--showing the different stages in Russel's quest for manhood.  Make sure your illustrations reflect the protagonist in the beginning, middle, and end of Dogsong by Gary Paulsen. 

OR

Many of the objects found in Dogsong reflect the Inuit culture.  Research some of these items and sketch a minimum of 4 of them.   Be prepared to explain the use of each.
